For my birthday last week, Annie presented me with a yellow Lilliput robot and a set of B Movie Action Figures.  What is she trying to say?

We had some fun setting this scene up this scene on the mantel of our fireplace.  The guy kinda looks like me, except I wouldn't be caught dead wearing khakis.

And We're Back

After some consideration, I re-upped my Typepad account for another year of blogging.  Honestly, I had second thoughts about it, as it seems I spend so much time on Facebook.  But it's clear that I benefit a great deal from reading other people's blog, and a few people have said they enjoy reading mine.  If you are one of them it would be cool if you left a comment to let me know what kind of content you enjoy the most - do you follow my adventures as an emerging artist?  Do you look for the photos?  Are you interested in my observations of everyday life?  I'm curious is all.  Curious enough to see how blogs continue to build my community of acquaintances and friends. I'd like to know who is out there.

OK, now that that is over, the above pic is my last linocut, which looks so much better as a raw plate (albiet flipped in Photoshop) than it does as an actual print.  Lesson learned here is to avoid carving too much away.  See what I mean:
