Last weekend I got to spend some time with my mom in Florida. We had a great time hanging out in her lovely garden, cooking together, and talking about art.
Mom's garden is a magnet for butterflies. There were dozens of them at any given moment. I was able to snap a shot of this beauty in the early afternoon.
This Buddah statue has graced my Mom's garden since I was 5 years old. I love it.
Mom has always been a wonderful source of inspiration and support for my own artistic pursuits. She shared this oil pastel drawing she recently finished.
If you ever wondered where I got my chops, look no further.
You should be proud to have such a great mom like her. and her art is simply fantastic.

What a sweet post. Your mom must be enormously proud of you. Any mom would be...
